RokSlideshow
The slide show takes pictures from a selected folder on the server. Once set up images can be changed, added or deleted through the front end admin.

From the backend admin JavaScript slideshow that allows you to quickly and easily display a selection of images and transition between them.
The slideshow itself is very flexible and easily customizable and offers a great alternative to flash-based solutions. The slideshow comes in 3 formats.

This Component allows you to place up to 12 questions, or 'options', in each poll question.

You can place a Poll on a web page using either a Poll Module through the Admin back end.

With out using this module we can set up a Twitter account. Users subscribe to it from the web page. They can then receive twittes on things like upcoming public meetings, trail conditions, school closings ect. This would require someone at you end to administrator.
